Flash Drives February 20, 2009
These little things called flash drives can make life real easy when it comes to storing data. If you use your computer and make a neat little program using one of your favorite software programs, all you have to do is plug this little flash drive into the side or back of your computer and save the file. This makes is easy to open this file up on any other computer at any time. Using flash drives is great because it can give you two copies of the data. If you are working on keeping track of what you are eating after taking the acceletrim supplement, then you save that information to both your computer and the flash drive. If one goes down, you got the other one sitting right there and ready for you to use.
Technically, these things are called Solid-State Drive, meaning that they use flash memory, rather than the old style of rotating platters. They are chip-based and work fast, they are real light too. They are not as good as spinning magnetic drives as far as performance is concerned, but they do a good enough job to keep your data transportable and in different locations just in case something happens. It is really cool that all you have to do is plug this thing in and press a button and your data will be in another spot.
