Green Man Gaming and O2 Join Hands April 5, 2010
To attract its customers, O2 has started a Priority scheme which gives its customers the advantage of doing certain things even before others can do it. For example, the customers can buy tickets to popular concerts before they go public. The new addition to the list is computer games which the customers would be able to download at least 48 hours before the games are released in the market for others. They will also be provided with the links for free download of certain games.
For this, the service provider has entered into a joint venture agreement with digital distribution service Green Man Gaming. Though not completely confirming the news, O2’s head of home and broadband, Felix Geyr, told MCV that they want to ensure that their customers get the best games and this deal with the Green Man Gaming might be the perfect way to provide the customers with relevant gaming solutions.
Green Man Gaming was the one to approach O2 on this matter and its CEO Paul Sulyok said that the company approached O2 because it has the best vision for future for its customers. They always put customers’ needs first which has got them great results. Therefore, Green Man Gaming is also happy to join them.
